"Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Be still and know that I am God."
God has sent many messengers to remind us that He exists
To tell us that He is with us
Not only does our Father love us, He wants to be loved by us. But each time mankind only saw the law, or the messenger but has not seen God.
Why do we forget our loving creator who has been so patient with us.
Read and see the very real love of our Father
Psalms 46
1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
3. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
4. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved. God shall help her and that right early.
6. The heathen raged, and the kingdoms were moved. He uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7. The Lord of hosts is with us. the God of Jacob is our refuge.
8. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9. He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in sunder. He burns the chariot in the fire.
10. Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth.
11. The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge
All you have to be is sincere and ask God for what you want or need. God is very compassionate and tenderhearted
Isaiah 38
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years
Meditating on these Scriptures will comfort you and build your faith.
