Making And Using Dowsing Rods
Making and using dowsing rods is simple and fun. Everything that you need to make them can be found around the home.
These instructions will show you how to make the set of L-Rods.
- Step 1. Take an ordinary wire coat hanger and make two cuts in it at the spots shown in the diagrams.
- Step 2. Bend the side part of the hanger so that it is completely vertical, forming a 90 angle with the bottom.
- Step 3. Cut a piece of Cardboard the size of the small side of the L-shaped hanger. Roll it up tight enough so that it will fit over the hanger, but it should not fit snugly. It should fit loose. Then tape the cardboard into this position. This will form the handle for your dowsing rod.
- Step 4. Now trim the cardboard so that at least one inch of the wire hanger extends out from it.
- Step 5. Bend this over so that the handle cannot slide off when the rod is in an upright position.
- Step 6. Now repeat this process with a second hanger to create a pair of rods. The rods should swing freely in the handles when finished. They should appears cingular. Tuesday was shown and in the diagram.
Many dry-cleaner hangers have a cardboard roll on the bottom portion of the hanger. This can be removed, cut and used as an effective.
How To Hold The Rods
The Rods have to be held at the waistline with the elbows against the body. This way they don't move due to any other disturbance.
How To Use The Rods To Measure Your Aura
These rods can be used for many purposes, but for our purpose, they will be used to measure the Aura. Have someone stand against the wall while holding the rods, one in each hand. Make sure that the rods are facing forward (As seen in picture above). Now approach the rods one step at a time. When your aura reaches/touches the rods they will open/spread apart. The rod in the person's right hand should swing to the right and the one in the person's left hand should swing to the left.
If they both move to the same side, left or right, this can mean that one side of your aura is larger than the other.
The rods can also be used to find energy in your home. If you feel there are spirits or ghosts around, you can find them by walking the parameters of your home.

My father would make the same out of two copper rods, and have me walk around outside, when i was a kid. When the rods would pull together and intersect, i would dig below the grass and usually there would be a coin or some metal object in the ground.
He could also take a large tree limb, holding the two smaller parts with his hands and find water anywhere!

However, if your aura is too small you increase the size. Too large you might want to reduce it. You may also want to keep it's color or change it.
I did that once to find something, cold spots in my house-. Any way another time but I used a necklace to find a misplaced book- and it kept swinging toward my picture window- I looked all around the window on the windowsill and everything. Well the next day I went out side and my book was on the table in the yard! So my necklace thing worked- I was just lacking mind wise. But I will try that on the Aura- I didn't know that.
