______The Levels Of Mind

You On The Tree Of Life

kabbalah

If you look at the Tree of life there are, for easier understanding what we call levels of consciousness represented by the Sefira (Sephiroth) or spheres.(Sefira means counting and are divine emanations that created the universe in the teachings of the Kabbalah) The names of each sefira are from scripture. The first three are found in Exodus 31:3. The next seven come from Chronicles 29:11.
At the top of the tree is Kether (Keter) where all is Spirit and unity. all that was, is or will be. The Whirling Forces. But below it is where the extreme polar opposites, yet complimentary spheres exist. To find the placement of these spheres within the human body you must back into the Tree. Facing the Tree on the right side are the Masculine spheres Chokmah, Chesed and Natzach, and are the spheres of Mildness their opposites are straight across from them on the left side and are Binah, Geburah and Hod and are the feminine spheres of Severity. In the human mind these are seen only as opposites. Yet these spheres work together as tension that create and are needed by each other to exist. Human minds think constantly back and forth one at a time creating imbalances. In the middle of the Tree is balance and unity of the two forces.
When these levels are balanced we create our lives according to the will of God. We build our willpower and we manifest what we desire. The middle pillar on the Tree of Life contains Keter, Daath, Tiphereth, Yesod and Malkuth. The Middle Pillar exercise is done to balance our minds and if done every day will keep us in balance. Once we are in balance we and our lives begin to change and wonderful things begin to happen.

The Middle Pillar Ritual

Begin this ritual by sitting or standing quietly facing west. You are backed into the Tree of Life. Begin visualizing on your right side the black feminine pillar, while on your left side the white masculine pillar, and yourself in the center of both.
If you choose to sit, it is fine but try to "see" yourself standing up.

Now facing the west, visualize yourself between the two pillars and you as the Middle Pillar. See a white sphere of light above your head. This white sphere is light and should be about the size of a plate. See it glowing and pulsating. As you breath see it increase in energy. Breath in and see it whirling and energizing. Continue with this step while vibrating the Divine name Eheieh. Direct the vibration to penetrate the sphere of light. Now try to hear the vibration in each sphere and see the energy from them go into and energize the light. This is powerful, because you hear the sound coming out of the sphere, while the sphere itself increases in energy. Above your head is the crown.
See and feel the Light descend through the head into the neck area. At the neck, it becomes Daath and is lavendar. Daath is the invisible sephira also known as the abyss. At this level vibrate the Divine name, YHVH Elohim,(Jehovah Elohim) At the same time see the sphere encompass the neck area.
See the white sphere above your head and a lavender sphere at the neck. See them both connected with a white line of light.
Now see the white line of light descend from the neck area into the solar plexus which is Tiphereth. The color is yellow. See this sphere in the size of a plate, while vibrating the Divine name Jehovah (YHVH) Eloah Ve-daath. And with each vibration, see the sphere become more intense. Tiphereth connects to all the other spheres and should extend beyond your body and penetrate through your whole being.
See the white line of light descend from the solar plexus and move down into the groin, which is Yesod and the color is violet. Now vibrate "Shaddai El Chai," while seeing the sphere encompass the groin area.

See the white line of light descend from the sphere down to the feet, which is Malkuth. At the feet is a black sphere of energy, Vibrate the Divine name "Adonai Ha Aretz." See the black sphere encompass both of the feet.

The next step will be to include the circulation of the Body of Light.

Deborah,

Having read all your hubs on kabbalah, I can't help but see this as yet another set of mysticism rituals similar to others the world over, which aims to bring one in to unity with some divine spirit or to ascend/return to some god-like state. I can see similar ideas in Wiccan, Eastern mysticism , New Age philosophy, Free Masonry, etc, etc. Though differing in their rtuals, all of these have the same base ideas of one trying through self effort to be transformed from the physical realm in to some higher concious state. All teach that man has lost some ancient wisdom that once gave him magical/miraculous powers. All these belief systems also come with the same self perpetuated arogance that they have discovered mysterious truths that only the initiated can recieve, that should not be exposed to the great unworthy unwashed masses.

But like all the others, nothing I see here deals with the fundamental problem of man's sin and inherant weaknesses of rebellion and trying to exist apart from God.

I've seen your hubs on Christianity, and it would appear that you acknowedge the important of God's plan for the world through His Son, but yet like most other adherants to mystical belief systems, you mock today's followers of Christ as simpletons who do not understand scripture.

But before you write me off as yet another unthinking Christian who has been brainwashed by church doctrine, understand that America's fundmentalist right wing church is not representative of the church worldwide. I for one am a free thinking seeker of God's truth who happens to recognise that I cannot be or do anything apart from Christ. I have no need for mystcism as all wisdom, authority and personnal transformation find their source in Him.

Kabbalah is the Western name for Ancient Mysticism. Many religions have taken parts of the Kabbalah/Ancient Mysticism and corrupted it through lack of understanding.

True Kabbalists seek God's righteousness as instructed to do.

YahShua Messiah taught that love fulfills the law. If we love we do not break God's law. But it is hard for people to just change even when they love the Messiah. The EGO gets in the way and causes people to hate as much as they love.

The Kabbalah is a guide to overcome the EGO and seek righteousness. As the Kabbalist sets his eyes on the Source (God) miracles happen along the way.

Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:20

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Kabbalah helps us "deal with the inherent weakness of rebellion and trying to exist apart from God".

Mysticism is belief that union with the Absolute (God is all in all), or the spiritual apprehension of knowledge inaccessible to the intellect, may be attained through contemplation and self-surrender.

How can this be wrong as you seem to feel?

Man has much to learn, much to surrender and needs a way to do that.

The TRUE Kabbalah is PURE in the thought to seek God in all his fullness.

Please don't put down what you don't understand.
